Hello from the land down under. What an adventure! Seeing Sting perform live on the steps outside of the Opera House and then seeing Madame Butterfly from inside the Opera House. From there I flew to Auckland where I was whisked off to the Bay Of Islands where I joined up with 172′ MY SURI and crew.
February 4thto February 11 th.
On the evening of February the 5 th we will board SURI in the Bay Of islands
February 5th and 6 th - Bay of Islands.
Friday Feb 4
Overnight Auckland harbor at penthouse on the harbor.
Sat Feb 5.
Picked up by helicopter in Auckland and flown to yacht in Bay of islands. Landed on boat.
Swam. Spent night anchored in Captain Cook Anchorage.
Sunday Feb 6
Visit Pahia Maritime Museum. Attend the Waitangi day celebrations; experience the
Maori culture at its finest. Be challenged by a Maori war dance; sample the foods of the
local Maori and region.Enoute to village we were escorted by dozens of dolphins.

Paihea and Russell. Visited 1st capitol of Nz
Moved to Cavali islands,
Monday February 7th.
- Flew by helicopter to Kaurri Cliffs golf course, spa, ect Depart for Whangaroa Hrb, distance 30 miles,
Tuesday
Dive the wreck of the rainbow warrior and other excellent dives.
Bush walks – visit King Fisher Lodge.
Tuesday feb. 7 Visited Carrington lodge golf course vineyard.
Sailed overnight to GBI
Wed. February 8th - overnight GBI
Tender tour around the port Fitzroy and Bush walks
Island tour and visit some of the famous hiking tours Manuka Honey 100 steps trail Pohutukenwa Mt Hobson
Thursday February 9th – Great Barrier island.
Depart from Great Barrier to Waiheke Island.
Visited Stoneridge Winery via helicopter
Remain here for the evening in one of the secluded bays, excellent beaching.
